Wind energy equipment is necessary to harness the power of the wind and turn it into energy. Wind turbines use wind to make electricity. Offshore and onshore blowing wind turns the blades clockwise, which in turn spins a generator to create electricity. The main shaft of the wind turbine, a rotor, a generator, a gearbox and a transformer are some of the equipment involved. Wind energy equipment needs to be maintained regularly to optimise performance.
