Prefabricated Substation

Medium-Voltage/Low-Voltage Prefabricated Substation is also Medium voltage / Low voltage package substations, also known as Metalclad Distribution Substation and miniature substation, which belongs to distribution substation (MDS) and provides power directly to users. the high input voltage normally is 35kV, 24kV, and 10kV. the main equipment includes high-voltage switchgear (high-voltage room), distribution transformer (transformer room), and low-voltage power distribution device (low-voltage room). It is especially suitable for urban network construction and reconstruction.  there are "terminal type" box-type substation transformer and "ring main unit" box-type transformer. According to different designs, it also can be divided into the environmentally friendly modular substation, smart/compact box substation, and intelligent integrated substation. Sometimes customers also call them and distinguish them as European box-type transformer substations and American box-type transformer substations.
