It is the circuit breaker used when the loaded current is higher than the limit of a MCB. MCCB is an electrical protection device which has the same protection of MCB. It is mainly used in industrial applications and higher current rating and fault level residential applications, because its wide rated current and high breaking capacity. MCCB can be used to offer protection for the capacitor bank, generator and main electric feeder distribution.
