The local Alfanar Construction has been awarded a $175m contract to build a 380kV substation at Baha and expand existing 380kV substations at Umluj, Al-Wajh and Yanbu.
The projects will be developed on a lump-sum turnkey basis. Scope of works will include design, engineering, materials procurement, factory inspection and testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction works, testing and commissioning and other associated works.
