Product Description
Polymeric
insulator consists of:
A glass fiber reinforced resin core (FRP Rod) to provide the
mechanical strength, while resisting the electrical stress.
Polymeric (Silicone rubber) shed to provide the required
creepage & stress reduction to withstand the stresses prevailing on the
system.
A typical method of construction shown in figure below. The metal fitting are
usually crimped on the glass fiber rod from the environment and the interfaces
between the silicone rubber metal fittings are important.

Bushing:A transformer bushing is
an insulating structure that facilitates the passage of an energized, current-carrying
conductor through the grounded tank of the transformer.
