Construction work underway on Engie's Saudi Arabia solar project

Construction work has started on Engie’s 30MW photolvoltaic (PV) solar project in Saudi Arabia, according to the French firm.

Construction work began in late May for the 30MW project, which Engie is developing for the National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec). After construction is completed, Engie will then deliver electricity for a period of 25 years under a power-purchase agreement (PPA).

Power from the project will be fed into Nadec’s own micro-grid.
